Getting packed

We've got everything packed and ready to go. Took significantly longer than we would have liked, but then again we were held up for almost an hour getting the rental car. The big thunderstorm that opened up on the 2nd effectively shut down the airport for a good while, including all the rental car companies there. Speaking of, our car is a banana yellow Kia Soul. Aimee Melancon has dubbed it the "Banana Box." It's a nice vehicle; smooth handling with all around good properties. It's also quite spacious. Rachel was sitting in the passenger seat with no adjustments, arms and legs extended, not touching anything.

Both Rachel and myself are close to collapsing at the time of this posting and we've got a long day of driving ahead of us, of which includes visiting Smoky Mountain National Park.
